Zidane was once asked 'What's it like to be the best in the World'? ... he replied ' Go and ask Paul Scholes'!

Adored him as a kid!
He didn't have an agent because he had absolutely no desire to play for any other club! Just a complete legend

Paul's Scholes was at manchester united from a young age. He's the most underrated player of his time. Also he said if you want to buy me you by my club manchester united. A true legend of the game

Scholes was one of the best attacking midfielders in the world when he was young. He then changed his game up, dropping deeper into midfield when he became older, becoming one of the best deep lying playmakers in the world. He was world class in both positions that he played.

He was the closest thing to a quarterback that you have in American football when he started playing deeper.

Arguably one of the best midfielders to ever grace the football pitch.

As a 30 year United fan, this video brings a 😢 tear to my eye looking at what we always had… and what we have now 😞

The man retired and came back because his team needed him, his manager needed him! He was part of the Class of '92, probably the greatest group of players to come out from an academy.
