The basic misconception in the genesis’ account of eve is that sexuality was the sin, the question is how were they to multiply other than through sexual relations ? Thus, sex was not the original sin, because God ordered them to multiply and fill the earth.

I can't believe I watched through this almost 2 hours video! Tales of "Notorious Women" from the bible are so interesting.

I think people are missing the point. Obedience here is what they missed (Adam & Eve) it's all about obedience, listening to God. The were disobedient and which led to them being kicked out

this unpacks what is never said, but the reality of the bible is that it was written with the patriarchal context, this is reading the bible from our context, hermenutics at its best. shukran

I went to a Lutheran school. My pastor taught us that the fruit is not an apple. He thinks it’s a fruit that no longer exists. He also said that both Adam and Eve were both standing there and Adam willingly wanted to try it when the serpent spoke. He wasn’t convinced by Eve

Eve did not tempt Adam with the apple, not did she convince him. She simply offered him the apple and he took it. He did not bother to ask her what it was or where she got it from.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. I felt like someone was taking me through the Bible without physically opening it and also shedding more light onto often one-sided interpretations of key topics. Thank you 🙏🏾
