  I was the first person in my country (the Netherlands) to buy the original Screamer Killer. I then spent about a month painting it and I actually won a Silver Demon with it back in 1994 :D. I still have the model and of course the Silver (real silver back in the days!) Demon trophy :). My Screamer Killer got its picture in 3 or 4 White Dwarf issues, making me the proudest daddy ever.

  It's funny hearing you call it small, I remember when it was released it blew my mind how huge it was. I wanted it so bad and never bought it. I was only 12 at the time so couldn't afford it. I'm tempted to buy it now

  if the pegs were too long, we used a small hacksaw to shorten them as our dads went mental if we used their wire cutters.

  I feel antediluvian right now. I remember buying Warhammer 1st edition (from the shop on Clayton Street in Newcastle for those who remember it) while I was at college.

  I love this model. I remember it coming out. Back when I had to walk uphill both ways in a blizzard to buy it from the FLGS.

  Ahh! The old metal Carnifex! I remember hating that thing SO much (I played Ultramarines back then) - Probably my proudest moment is when I managed to 1-shot one of the buggers!<br><br>Back then, they had 10 wounds, and a 3+ save (on TWO D6 - same as a Space Marine Terminator). I Shot one with a Lascanon, which did D12 wounds - I scored 11, and he only made a single successful save! SO all 10 wounds, *gone*.

  Top tip for gluing large metal models: sandwich a thin bit of green stuff in between layers of superglue. It creates a super strong bond that&apos;s also less brittle than just superglue on its own
