  Blanche Barrow's book is worth reading. Naturally she paints herself in the best possible light, but I think she was also pretty unflinchingly accurate about Bonnie and Clyde and her time on the run with them. She didn't romanticize it at all.

  I always appreciate your approach to these types of topics. Too many people romanticize people like Bonnie & Clyde. They were psychopaths and killers.

  Her mom didn't want her with him. Bonnie's mother strictly forbade it. Although Bonnie reportedly wished to rest beside Clyde, her mother held Clyde responsible for leading her daughter into a life of crime and death. She declared, "Clyde had her in life, he can't have her in death".

  yes, my name is Bonnie, I am 57, my mom named me after Bonnie and Clyde, when I was in school, kids would always say, Where is Clyde? I do not like being referred to them, they was evil mean people

  My father worked for the Dallas coffin company and was delivering to the place when they brought in Bonnie. He would talk about her hand being shot up and her toenails being painted. He did the upholstery in both caskets

  I was so pleased to hear that you didn’t sugar coat what terrible people they were. I hate the glazing that occurs with these people. They were violent sadistic people. They really shouldn’t be celebrated in any way.

  I remember seeing the car as a child.  They took it around to different places in the country on a tour and put it on display for people to see.

  My grandmother's cousin was Patrolman H. D. Murphy who was killed by Bonnie and Clyde in Grapevine, Texas. My grandmother (born in 1906) and Murphy grew up together in Alto, Texas. My grandmother often told the story that Murphy's fiancee wore her wedding dress to the funeral.
