  End of free market. If they charge you based on your income it's not retail, it's taxation.

  I was at Walmart. My wife sent me a screenshot (from the Walmart app) of an item she wanted me to get. She had the store I was at selected. I get to the aisle and the price had gone from $9.98 to $11.98. That adds up across millions of customers.

  They are also charging you the wrong amount for the quantity or weight. The meat and cheese and fresh foods have been a problem for years, but they’re now OVER CHARGING you for spices, salt, pills and other things that say it’s one price per oz or pill, but charge you up to 30% more than what you should be paying. I only shop there anymore if it’s absolutely something I can’t get elsewhere. Not to mention spying on me as soon as I pull in the parking lot.

  walmart literally JUST STARTED doing this to me last week. purina pet food i've been buying for 10+ years. it was $15, then $18, then covid bumpbed it to $20-21. last few years everytime i've bought it, its $19 and change for the 40lb bags. few weeks ago i went to put in my order and they want $26.58 exactly for each bag of cat/dog food. the 40lb bags i've bought for years they are trying to charge me double what it should cost. i installed the tractor supply app and just started going through them. bigger bags 55lb bags for $24.

  I quit going to Wendy's when the CEO said they cut corners and compromised quality. Knowing Walmart is going to be doing  "dynamic pricing" in the near future (they say no but they threw the trial balloon out there, it's coming), it will be time to quit them altogether.

  I bought some cought meds a few weeks back and the price was $9.97, I went back in a week later for some more of the same exact meds and it was marked as the same price and it was not until at the register that I noticed the price changed to $12.97 for the same exact thing. The man at the register said, "You can ask for a refund at customer service." I don't want a refund, I want my $3 back and that is it. The kicker is, I was on the way to drop my kid at school and had to be somewhere myself, otherwise I would've stood there and got my money back. My wife said this happens often lately and you have to pay attention at the register.
