The crowd views the flyover as entertainment while the military view the flyover as a tactical experience for their younger pilots. Is a win-win situation.

You need to show your Mom a video the Blue Angels doing a show....Jets flying wingtip to wingtip..they are great to watch; especially if ur present at the air shows.😊

my son works at an airforce base and took me in a tour of a hospital helicopter. It was massive and held an entire state of the art operating room. I was blown away.
