This is so, so beautiful - I truly do wish the baroque period with guitar and lute pieces in particular were treated with more respect and shared more openly.

If you realise for a moment all that has happened in the world from the time of these great composers to the present day! It is therefore enormously appreciable that we are still in a position to listen to their works. Let's just hope that AI will continue to leave this magnifique phenomenon alone. The musician who tries to approximate the original as closely as possible, but at the same time is allowed to give her or his own interpretation of it, works extremely hard to achieve that. Just as in the case of man's other artistic expressions. And that should absolutely not be tainted by AI. Because AI now only generates “Quick Fix Art” . Cheap and soulless.

If I had the talent I might well have composed a poem on hearing your wonderful performance on the baroque lute, but instead of doing so may I recommend this beautiful 1816 Sonnet by John Keats that puts my feelings far better than I could myself: ‘On First Looking into Chapman’s Homer’…
