I'm 73. As a teen, I listened to the ORIGINAL, over & over. Disturbed, has won my HEART. DISTURBED VERSION IS AMAZING!

What gave me goosebumps was that "Paul Simon" said "our version was the warning, your version was the anger that no one heeded the warning!!!!"

What an honor...to write a song, 🎵 🎶 Where the original authors say.. "This song belongs to you now."

I'm 65 healthy enough but looking ahead, if they don't play this at my funeral, I'm not going.

The way David Draiman brings the emotion to this song - from hesitating to disturb the silence around him to anger that he isn’t being listened to - it injects this song with so much more feeling. I’m not knocking Simon & Garfunkel at all because the song itself is very powerful on it’s own, but Disturbed really helps the listener to feel the anger and outrage that the words have always hinted at. I absolutely love this cover as it’s one of the few that manage to lift it just that much higher.
