If Anju &amp; Kafei&apos;s quest ISN&apos;T your favourite Zelda side quest, let me know what is!<br><br>EDIT: Apparently you don&apos;t need the Goron Mask to claim the Goron&apos;s room key - having the same name as him is enough! The Goron Mask is only required in the 3DS remake!

  Everytime I play MM, I always try to make this the last quest before going to the Moon.<br><br>I will make it so they can see the morning together

  Imagine being the staff member who got married shortly after OoT and then hearing that Anju and Kafei’s story exists because your bosses were inspired by you and your partner, that’d feel like a pretty big honor.

  This side quest is so hauntingly beautiful, it really makes majoras mask such an impactful title that other games in the series just can’t match

  Another brilliant thing about this quest is that you get it so early in the game. It&apos;s one of the first bomber notebook entries you&apos;ll get but you can&apos;t resolve it until much later in the game. And so it hangs over you for most of your playthrough, haunting you and begging to be solved

  I had no idea there was a scene for if players helped Kafei get his mask but never gave Anju the pendent! Amazing that the game designers actually considered this as possibility and accounted for it, made all the more impressive given the quick turn-around they were given for working on the game.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAX7OlGPl2E&amp;t=245">4:05</a> I like how during this part when Anju is sitting in the rain, you can ring the bell and Kafei will come out. And she doesn’t even notice him. And he doesn’t do anything even though he looks around when he comes out. They’re literally right across from each other and nothing happens. So close, yet so far away.

  I&apos;m so happy you tackled this story. Even as a kid this story hit me like no other. My mother didn&apos;t really like me playing games and what not, but when I showed her this game, at the time, I was tackling this story. When I described what was happening and connecting the dots, she had me play it out. I was at the point of taking the Goron Link&apos;s room. My mother was hooked on the story. She was always a sap for love stories. She sat with me and watched me engage in problem solving and reading comprehension. <br><br>She saw how complex the game truly was and noticed I was learning quite a few skills. Like the memory retention you mentioned. We sat for hours till the big pay off. Anju and Kafei married. It brought some tears to her eyes. This game is special to me in more ways than one.

  It&apos;s definitely the most intricate quest ever put into the Zelda series. You especially have to appreciate how it ties in to practically every other character and side quest in the game; the fact that practically every character in Termina has some tangential connection to either Anju and Kafei - and has an opinion of some kind on Kafei&apos;s disappearance - is particularly impressive. Absolutely a favorite of mine.
