  It's gonna sound corny, but genuinely "When you're happy you enjoy the music, when you're sad you understand the lyrics" type of game.

  Part of what I love about Majora is it repeatedly shows that Link is still kind, tender, and caring despite what happened to him. He salutes Captain Keeta, waves goodbye to the sea turtle, gives Mikau a proper burial despite having met him moments ago, goes around helping all these people in an unfamiliar doomed world that may not even be real just to try and ease their suffering, even as that progress gets erased with each cycle. He ends the game by befriending Skull Kid, his tormentor for this entire ordeal, and carving a doodle of them into a tree stump just like he used to outside his house in Kokiri Forest<br><br>I think Majora is about Link healing his own soul as he heals others. If you&apos;re paying attention, no other game characterizes Link as deeply as MM does

  I still remember being young playing this and being sad about this and my father, who was really into the story, casually remarking, &quot;Ahhh... Navi left him because he is no longer a child of the forest and thus she can no longer be his guardian fairy. He&apos;s all grown up, now.&quot; and I was like &quot;but she was his friend&quot; and my dad was like &quot;we do lose friends as we grow up.&quot; He said this so wistfully. I get it now, dad. Ah, Zeltik. Thank you for your work.<br><br>EDIT: Just got to to the end and yes karalora is SPOT ON imo

  i do a 100% run of Majoras mask every time i go through a significant loss. its really soothing and grounding to face doom and grief head on, it makes the brighter moments in the game feel even more significant

  This just proves why the Hero of Time is, not just the greatest, but also the most tragic hero across the series. Of course, this isn&apos;t even mentioning the Hero&apos;s Shade.

  Just to let it all sink in.<br>This is the Hero of Time, just after he&apos;s had time to cope with the fact that he&apos;s now in a time where no one knows him, or what he did, and the fact he&apos;s effectively an adult in a child&apos;s body.<br>Then ends up getting involved in a tragic sequence of events, the most pressing one being the complete destruction of Termina at the hands of Majora.<br>Without even needing a reason he spends every making waking doing everything he can to save Termina, while also going of his way, to help each every inhabitant of Termina with their problems.<br>All the while constantly enduring all the pain, and suffering, whenever he puts on a mask of those who died because of Majora&apos;s actions. Lost souls who he helped put to rest.<br>Then after doing all of that, gets entrusted with the power of a literal dark god, doesn&apos;t lose his mind, then proceeds to hand Majora one of the most well deserved ass whoopings imaginable.<br>Finally when all is said and done, and Termina is saved. He doesn&apos;t stick around to be celebrated as a hero. He humbly leaves, to continue with his original quest, to find the one only friend who truly knows what Link sacrificed and lost for the sake of Hyrule Navi.<br>Then in death, couldn&apos;t even pass on because Link felt he didn&apos;t do enough for Hyrule. <br>Is it any wonder why he&apos;s often regarded as the most heroic, and yet most tragic Link.<br>He pretty much lost everything, yet still did everything he could for Hyrule, and anyone else he could help in life or death.

  Makes me sad that we might never get another Zelda with the same degree as Majora&apos;s Mask. It&apos;s not a video game.. it&apos;s a masterpiece.

  Majora’s mask has always been one of my favorite Zelda games next to twilight princess. The foreboding atmosphere, the use of masks to give link new abilities by turning him into other races, and varied environments, the mystery around majoras’s mask, itself, its all so good. No other Zelda game is like it

  The older I get the more I love Majora&apos;s Mask. Link&apos;s struggles, trials and accomplishments are not only explained greatly in the games, it&apos;s also very real for people living today, especially for me.

  OoT was my favorite Zelda game as a kid, but now that I’m pushing 40 this game has taken its place. The story line just hits different now that I’m mature enough, been through life a bit, and have experienced loss to understand it

  I always interpret the 100% ending of Majora&apos;s Mask as all of the timelines that Link created where he saved everyone, merge together to create the best ending.
