Little fun fact, Tyler starts singing at 17 seconds which is also the atomic number for Chlorine

Morph is probably one of the most amazing songs ever made. The vibe is unmatched.

After Blurryface blew up and TOP had a couple of crazy years, they went radio silent for a year. Tyler went to his basement to create the masterpiece that is Trench. Chlorine and Pet Cheetah chronicle this journey.
Every album is a time stamp of where they were in their lives. You can see the throughline in their growth, refinement, production, etc. Yet they remain true to themselves, their fanbase and their messaging.
They are truly TRULY special.

What's actually amazing, is that Tyler had no background or formal training in music or musical theory. He started in high school with the garage band program and just started making music as an outlet, just putting things together that he thought sounded good.

I forget which interview he talked about it in though. But I'm sure someone out there knows or can find it.

I know people really wanna see Clancy or Breach, but for consistency and to understand how they’ve evolved, I really hope you do Scaled and Icy Next, just to keep the Trench Saga of albums in order. Even though people consider it weaker it has some of their highest points, and the closing track is easily one of the best things they’ve ever produced
