  Social media, has blown things out of proportions for motorcycling, doing a nice breakfast ride on a Sunday morning on your street bike, going off-road course on an enduro or cruising the highway there is fun in all of them.. you don't need fancy stuff, heck you don't even need different bikes, I just have a baby duke and I end-up doing all three, most of the time along with my office commute.. 😀

  Started learning a year ago, spend nearly a year on a 125 to get used to it. and before the year was up got my full a licence in November. Picked up my Triumph Trident 660 last week and that first ride taking it home was the most fun i have had in a long time.<br><br>Big thanks to this channel, especially some of the live streams with the instructors really helped out, not only with the know how but calmed the nerves.

  Just tried to book a mod 1 test <br>. No tests available where I live in a 30 mile radius for the next 4 months.<br><br>No wonder there are less folk riding motorcycles 🤷

  I scammed two of my mates into riding at the tender ages of 38 and 44.<br>If you frame the CBT as just a fun activity day out for laughs and giggles to try and learn to ride motorcycles and that they&apos;ll even take you out on the road for a few hours at the end of the day... that&apos;s enough to get them excited. Its no longer offical training, it&apos;s a fun activity day; like rock climbing, a helicopter/hotair ballon flight, escape rooms etc.. but if you tell them they&apos;ll be able to actaully ride mopeds after on their car licence after with no L plates, as shit as it is they&apos;ll be all in for that because it&apos;s free and something they can&apos;t do now. This is even before they know they can ride 125cc bikes for two years. Of coures once they get on a motorcycle they&apos;ll be scraping together funds for their DAS, the bug always bites.

  For me it was having somewhere safe to park the bike and my size and weight. &nbsp;Got to the point of saying sod it and just do it. &nbsp;Cbt booked for June.
