  Wait a minute, how did you not pause to note that in Super Mario World, if you go left, you can almost immediately touch a shell-free Koopa, and if you go right you can almost immediately touch a shell without a Koopa? We found that Koopa's missing shell!

  I guess Koopa Troopas are becoming an endangered species in the 3D timeline.  I'm sure it has nothing to do with kart racing maniacs lobbing koopa shells at each other all race.

  I never noticed how absent koopas are from 3D Mario games... did Reggie just conclude that they&apos;re too finicky? It&apos;s easy to accidentally cause a mess with koopas in the 2D games, maybe it&apos;s worse in 3D
