  1) I have been made aware that its supposed to be pronounced &quot;kay&quot; car not &quot;key&quot; car. &nbsp;I have never heard people say &quot;kay&quot; car, only &quot;key&quot; car, so that&apos;s why I said it that way. &nbsp;I don&apos;t know if that&apos;s a Canadian thing, or if its just all my friends also pronounce it wrong and no one else here has ever bothered to correct me.<br><br>2) I don&apos;t think the Isuzu Bellel gasoline engines were fuel injection, I read some bad information on that. &nbsp;The single and twin carb gas engines that I mention were sold in the American market are probably what Japan got too.

  Emperor Akihito has another interesting part of his car history. While he was mostly chauffeured around in Toyota Century limousines and Nissan Prince Royals, he also owns a 1991 Honda Integra that he personally drove around his palace grounds up until his driver&apos;s license expired in 2019.<br><br>I also remember seeing this really interesting Japanese TV show that aired a couple years ago where they would spend each episode trying to track down a surviving example of a rare model or variant of classic Japanese car. One episode they went looking for a Honda T360 snow crawler variant, and they eventually found some old guy that had a set of snow crawler attachments new in their original boxes stashed away in his attic! Some of the episodes were particularly interesting because they would interview one of the original engineers or designers of whatever car they were looking for. Some episodes are a bit sad though because they might find that the only remaining example of a car is just a pile of rust in someone&apos;s yard that decayed because that person couldn&apos;t afford to put it in a garage.

  When working in Tokyo for an American company in the 2000&apos;s It was explained to me by a Japanese friend that the busy, sometimes frilly styling Japan is fond of is in response to how the cars are viewed. The tighter, compact streets and city centers mean that cars are often viewed close in &nbsp;- not in big open vistas, hence Toyoda styling seen at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-hBglZEUKE&amp;t=1700">28:20</a>
