  When this movie first premiered, there were protests from church groups outside many theaters. In a classic Kevin Smith move, the writer and director himself (who plays Silent Bob) actually joined the protesters. He was even interviewed by a local news station, and the reporters had no idea they were interviewing the very man who created the film they were protesting against!

Boy!”<br><br>Literally 85% of Salma Hayek’s lines.<br><br>“He begged me to ‘make it all not true.’ And, I’ll tell you something… if I had the power, I <b>would</b> have.”<br><br>“Wax-on, wax-off.”<br><br><i>This</i> is very likely to be the best reaction to this film that I’ve seen… it <b>IS</b> censored, which I have a serious problem with (especially considering that there have been more than one reaction to this movie that is less than a month-old, and completely uncensored).<br><br>That said, y’all have included more of what I would consider to be memorable and quotable references than any of the other reactions! ❤️

  Chasing Amy and Dogma are the odd ducks of the ViewAskewniverse. The former is more serious and the latter more controversial than the rest of Kevin Smith&apos;s comedies.<br>While it plays fast and loose with Christian mythology, Dogma is a lot of fun.

  I hope you guys go through all the Kevin Smith movies, they are so good and there are so many actors and characters (like Jay and Silent Bob) that are in all the movies. This and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back are my favorites because they came out when I was in High School and were all I watched when I was younger. I still quote these movies all the time. Fun fact, Kevin Smith fought for decades to get the rights to this movie back from Harvey Weinstein and just got them back this year which is why its now available on digital platforms but what I love about Kevin Smith most is that as a protest to Harvey Weinstein he would upload a full version of this movie on YouTube every year just as an FU to him. Great reaction!
