ALL the food in advert is, what is sold in Britain, at Aldi. x

As you may have figured it out - the British only do “certain things” seriously: Armistice Day/Remembrance Week; Queen Elizabeth’s funeral; King Charles’ coronation; terrible home or world events etc….

The rest of time, British humour will reign supreme and everything is just “up for a laugh” or a bit of sarcasm and off the wall fun😊

the one with Kevin driving the truck is a spoof of the "Coke cola advert" and the movie "the Italian Job"

"Marcus Reddishford" refers to a footballer called Marcus Rashford who campaigned for children to get free school meals, which is why Kevin said "he's always helping children".

Your comments about Aldi food makes me think you are where we were about 20 years ago in our thoughts about Aldi. It's totally turned its image around and does some really good, reasonably priced food.

The Let Me Entertain you song in the sprouts ones is a song by Robbie Williams with the words changed a bit for the advert, he's really big here but seems most people in the US don't know him

Jasper is a reference to the British comedian Jasper Carrot, his daughter plays Dawn in the original Office (became Pam in the US version), and she’s one of the main character in Shaun of the Dead.

You should check out some of Jasper Carrot’s stuff!
