As someone who has studied music, I find your interpretations of music just as (if not more) valuable than interpretations from people who have studied music. In rehearsal or lessons, it’s so easy to get bogged down with every single tiny detail in trying to “sound good” that we forget to think about the images and emotions that music actually tries to portray.

“Not having any wind instruments in the mix lends the feeling that the air in this place is very still.” What an intelligent, well thought through description of the art going on. 10/10 more music chat please

Not sure if it was mentioned in the first episode: A tidbit about discovering yellows compared to reds is that when Olimar discovers the red onion, he's knocked back by the legs when it sprouts. When he discovers the yellow onion, he takes a few steps back to avoid being bowled over again.

The Sagittarius and Libra are actually headlights, as can be more clearly seen in their Pikmin 4 appearance.

Thus, they are a necessary ship part for the same reasont the captain's seat is... not necessarily needed... but important enough to be required.

the run length of this video doesn't do justice the clear amount of effort and time that went into producing this episode, having to replay days and skip days over and over to check various different ship log entries alongside notating the differences within each individual day, coupled with the usual extremely touching polish with ship part and enemy bios, This is truly impressive and absolutely incredible, Very much worth the wait, I only wish i had the funds to join the patreon, You seriously deserve it

Okay, seeing Olimar "farm aura" to the tune of You Will Know Our Names is without question the hardest laugh I've had this weekend

That was a really solid Zapp Brannigan impression at the start.

To be fair to Olimar requiring the gems his kids gave him, they are built right into the Dolphins' hull. Which is... Sad considering Pikmin 2. Did he get those back?
Anyway, I am shocked, SHOCKED how much Pikmin water torture happened this episode! Well, not that shocked.

14:23 The Credits for Pikmin 1 mention that the Mamuta is fond flowers but specifies that it only likes them for their decorative properties which would explain why it pounds the Pikmin into the ground where they can stay and look pretty

I don't know what "hyping" a video does, but you better believe I did it
