  As an old Spaniard (72), I can say we had to study a lot of Latin language when I was a boy (10), for 7 years. So I could understand almost everything at first. It was curious and touching to me to listen to it after so many years!<br>Thank you very much!

  I like how he is actually using a lot of direct language pedagogical techniques to help people understand what he is saying. Defining words, elaborating on the question, using gestures, but always staying in the target language. It’s very friendly and unintimidating and people seem to respond quite well to it.

  I am Italian, I studied Latin during my high school. I did love it! And my dearest friends as well...we tried to speak Latin most of time. It was a lot of fun. So now your video is making me mildly emotional. Bene fecisti, amice!

  Brother let me tell you something about Italians. &nbsp;Italians actually <b>want</b> to communicate, they are making an effort to understand you, you could speak to them in a language they&apos;ve never heard before and they will follow your gestures and your body language, they will find one word that sounds familiar and build around it, they will encourage you to keep talking, and eventually they will probably get the gist of what you&apos;re trying to say. &nbsp;Because they want to communicate, they enjoy it and it is important to them. &nbsp;Other Europeans, especially northern Europeans, not so much.
