1775 is such a great game. One of those rare ones that's able to still feel like a strategic wargame while being quite light. You feel like a real strategist pushing those cubes around, and the rapid turnaround with the routed units returning creates really interesting board states.

Armada is so awesome; I definitely need to get it back on the table. Undaunted Stalingrad is a great campaign game, hope you get it back on the table soon.

1775 was the only one in this list that I had played ~ introduced it to my young niece, recently. She did exceptionally well.

I just played in the Star Wars Armada tournament at the NOVA Open in DC last week. I got waxed, and expected to because I rarely get to play, but I still had a lot of fun and laughs getting waxed!

I have 7 out of 10 of these in my collection and 6 of them are also in my top 100. Of the 3 I don’t own, 2 I’d love to get. So great list! For whatever reason I am just not a fan of most Trek games tho I’m a huge Trekkie. We need an Axis and Allies Dominion War game - something epic!

My buddy and I have done maybe 7 or 8 scenarios in Stalingrad. We get back to our campaign every few months. I think Undaunted is liked so much cuz you take quick turns. Your actions are limited to the cards you have, yet you can still devise plans. Memoir 44 is somewhat like that. Not too complicated yet quick turns and thematic. Very competitive.

Armada, Nemesis, Retaliation…that’s probably 3 of my top 10 just there. It’s such a shame Armada isn’t in print anymore. I was too late to discover that one and now either faced with aftermarket prices or jumping into the 3D printer world.

Unless I already missed it (or it didn’t make the list at all), I’d be very curious to hear your thoughts on Xia vs Western Legends. Would like to pick up one sandbox game and those both sound like great options.

I really like all the Axis & Allies "battle" games for lack of a better term. Market-Garden is supposed to be the next game in this line, sometime in 2027? Really looking forward to that.

Has 878 Vikings ever been on any of your lists? I'd rank it tops of the Birth of America / Europe games. I've played all of them. Not crazy on 1812.
