If you're not on stage and just need to connect a phone, the Podtrak P4 does an excellent job. It solves so many of these problems. Great information. Thank you.

The best method for me is a cheap mixer with Bluetooth, whose output I route to my audio rack using XLR cables.<br>P.S.: A big plus is that you can control the playback functions directly from the mixer, so you don't have to fiddle around with the phone to play, pause, or skip songs. It also has an equalizer, so I can adjust the settings precisely and clearly on a single, dedicated device.

This makes so much sense! I've always used DI boxes for our guitarists without really knowing why. I just thought they were a high end converter that helped eliminate some noise from the guitar. I guess that's not technically wrong, but the noise was from the instrument cable, not the guitar! This helps a lot, actually.

Love these videos, everything is made so clear. A few months back I rearranged my room so all my audio equipment is connected to one power source. Since then I've had no ground loop issues. Such a good thing to know and understand. Everything draws very little current so there are no possible overload issues either. I simply attached a high quality 12-way mains extension to the back of my electric piano and from there all the other devices are powered. A great tidy solution.
