What this guy is saying is absolutely correct. IF you can find sellers willing to sell you their properties for way below market value then you can make a lot of money. What a novel idea.

As a lender I am very cautious about who I do lending with. There are plenty of investors who borrow all the money on purpose so that if the market were to tank or they screw things up, they walk away and leave you holding the bag. The line is "always use other people's money." Before the crash of -08 this happened to many lenders and they were stuck with half done projects and the value of those properties were not what they lent. Nothing irks me more than investors acting like your money is expendable and your livelihood means nothing to them. Be cautious.

What I got from this video the most is traditional finance keeps you slightly above poor status and we are all happy about it. To make real money, you can’t settle for a 10% return.

It’s crazy. I remember guys like this right before 08 Happened. Everyone was a genius, getting rich. The ignorance of a man who no one knew existed four years ago is WILD to me. The pandemic did wonders for people who found loopholes that haven’t closed yet but will definitely lead to the market crash.

This is one of the best episodes I’ve seen on this show. I don’t care one bit about the homeownership or buying or selling. However, the pushback and asking so many follow up questions is so much more enjoyable to watch to get a good answer from the guest Has made this episode much more informative. Kudos to the hosts.
