As a Jays fan and proud Canadian, I'd love to extend a heartfelt congratulations to the Mariners for their success this season, and in-particular a hard-fought series. Win or lose, both teams on this series captured the true magic of the sport of Baseball.

Thank you to the city of Seattle, for supporting your team, and creating an intensely fun play-off atmosphere.

This series made me love baseball again 🔥

The Jays have won these 2 series without their best hitter and without Berrios. This has been a "next man up" team all season.

Joe Carter said it best before the game when asked how can the BJs pull it off and beat the Mariners....his answer was simple..."just get one more run than the other team" and thats EXACTLY what they did!!!! LFG baby love this team!!! WS or BUST!!!

The baseball gods have a sense of humor...the same fans who cheered Springer’s injury just watched him crush their dreams. That’s poetic justice at 95 mph. But a Canadian and long time Jays fan.. tip of the cap to the Mariners — they brought heart, hustle, and class. A tough, worthy opponent from first pitch to last. 👊
