  the one thing i really found hilarious was shadiversity's opinion that Japan is some bastion of "anti-woke" culture. I have lived in japan for nearly two years now and can say that japan is actively making efforts to make disability and gender nonconformity more tolerated and accepted in society (in my own opinion), more so than my own home country of England.
