  This is a gem of a movie! And it is so important to watch especially in these times. I am watching from Weimar, Germany where there is a monument of Buchenwald visible from all sides and posters of survivors of the Holocaust on permanent display walking from the trainstation down Carl- August and Karl Liebknecht Blvd into the inner city of Weimar. A constant reminder!!!.

  This was one of my favorite books back in the 70s. Still makes me cry. The movie is excellently done.

  Great movie. As a Canadian Christian I did a motorcycle tour of Israel on the April following the Oct 7th attack. There were only 4 of us and I saw things whereas normally it would be standing room only. My tour guide who was an ex IDF soldier said that we were the 'chosen 4' and while we were camped out along the Dead Sea, we were awakened out of our tents by an Iranian missile attack. I'll never forget it.

Sometimes silence teaches us humility and makes us wise.   Such a profoundly touching story.

  Years ago I was told by a Jew that they invested in gold jewelry just in case they had to flee.  I thought at the time that it would never be an issue in America.  This film is worth watching... several times.

  A father who saw his son had no compassion and made the huge sacrifice to break his own sons heart in order to save him.  Beautiful story.

  Beautiful! I love  Israel and His people! Tears ..what a moving moment Father and son finally reunited! Hashem...Messiah is coming again as THE KING FOREVER
