  I remember when he beat Cruz. He was 11-0, had just beaten the greatest bantamweight ever, and was only 25. I was a big fan. After his first loss to TJ I was bummed but thought that he’d get back up and reclaim the belt.  After his second loss I felt really bad for him, but surely thought he still had a long, successful career ahead of him. It’s crazy that it turned out the way it did. The dude is so fast and so naturally gifted….at least he was champ though. No one can ever take that from him.

  Dominick Cruz was nearly untouchable at the time.<br> &nbsp;And Cody make him look like he had no business being in the Octagon with him.<br> &nbsp; Man, did he fall off in a hurry.

  Cody was the fighter that made me realize that confidence is a huge part of being a fighter and why when undefeated fighters take their first loss, they go on to usually lose one after another.

  Cody was sensational against Cruz. <br><br>He was my favourite fighter for a while there. Dillashaw rivalry was insane
