  Tires are the most important thing for traction, AWD can help but RWD car with winter tires on snow will have less problem with traction that AWD on summer or all season.

In hybrid mode, Volvo&apos;s eAWD actually behaves as an RWD car and only activates the ICE to power the front wheels if it loses traction or when you&apos;re requesting too much power. When you switch it to &quot;Constant AWD&quot;, both ICE and ERAD are active and you&apos;ll have constant AWD up to 220 km/u.

  Thanks, great video! One thing I wish all drivers knew is that these systems help you when accelerating/turning, not braking. You need to know your tires&apos; limits and keep a safe distance

  Ive owned 2009 Lexus GS 350 followed by 2013 Audi S6 followed by 2019 BMW M5C. &nbsp;The Lexus was by far the most confident in snow, &nbsp;I drive at least twice a week, 2 hours plus each way, to the ski hill. &nbsp;Flexible work schedule allows me to go on the snowiest days each week. &nbsp;The way the Audi quickly switches left to right traction was pretty scary at first and not confidence inspiring. &nbsp;The BMW M5C sits so low that its hard to handlle when deeper snow is hitting the front air dam.

  Say what you want about Haldex, my RS3 still does a 0-60 in 2.8 sec on the street. And all I have is an intake and tune. It&apos;s not the best, but it&apos;s still very effective.
