  I think Dolly kept her diagnosis quiet as a final act of kindness. She didn’t want pity. She didn’t want to create sadness. She knew what a feeding frenzy the media would make of her condition &amp; her final days. And I think the reaction to her passing is proof that even with the awful state of things in this country &amp; the world…that people do still recognize goodness, kindness &amp; truth &amp; Hope. People do still know what that means, how it makes people feel. Dolly embodied all that was good in this world &amp; still can be. What a heavenly welcome she must’ve received. Well done lovely lady. ❤

  Just for you Yanks, I live in a suburb of Brisbane (Australia) and I&apos;m working from home. I can hear the PA from the local primary school and they have been playing Dolly Parton songs at break time today. I think you have made your mark Ma&apos;am, rest in peace now in the embrace of your God.

  Her sister Stella just spoke with People mag. &nbsp;She thanked everyone and said her sister at somepoint knew it was probably fatal..but to help others Dolly took experimental treatments with no real chance as to help others in the future . &nbsp;Its only my theory but possibly side effects took her. Might be why she went to the hospital instead of dying at home with hospice. &nbsp;Think how much respect the hospital workers and others not to leak this or that she was there. &nbsp;Very very rare

  Parton was very private for a celebrity. Most,of the news on her husband was to announce his death from natural causes. She was the polar opposite of the Kardashians.
