The Lost Cities of the Quran: Rise, Sin and Destruction

Discover 9 mysterious cities and ancient civilizations mentioned in the Quran — their rise, their people, their prophets, their sins, their destruction, and the ruins and mysteries that remain today. In this Islamic documentary, we travel thousands of years into the past to explore Babylon, Iram, Al-Hijr, Saba, Madyan, the region of Lut, Najran and Ashab al-Ukhdud, ancient Egypt, and Nineveh through the Quran, authentic Hadith, Islamic history, tafsir, archaeology, and historical research. Some of these civilizations built great cities, powerful kingdoms, dams, trade networks, monuments, and armies. Yet the Quran tells us how pride, corruption, injustice, disbelief, cheating in trade, and moral decline changed their future. And one city did something different: the people of Yunus believed before it was too late. 00:00 9 Mysterious Cities & Nations Mentioned in the Quran 01:38 Why the Quran Tells Us About Destroyed Cities 02:59 Babylon: Harut, Marut & the Ancient City of Mystery 08:40 Iram & the People of ‘Ad: The Lost City of the Pillars 19:42 Al-Ula & Thamud: The Civilization That Carved Mountains 28:10 Saba: Queen Bilqis, The Devastating Flood 39:45 Madyan: Prophet Shu'ayb & the People Who Cheated in Trade 46:11 Sodom & the Cities of Prophet Lut (AS) 54:30 Ashab al-Ukhdud: The People of the Trench & the Boy Who Defied a King 01:04:42 Memphis & Ancient Egypt: Prophet Yusuf, Musa & Pharaoh 01:14:08 Nineveh: Prophet Yunus ﷺ & the City That Repented 01:19:37 Why Nineveh Was Saved & the Final Lesson of the 9 Cities In this documentary, you will discover: 1.
