  AI engineers giving me health and saying "heal up soldier" always made me feel like the cat meme of "thank you, I will never forget this, I will fite for you!" and them follow them around.

  Engineer is the best for the simple fact the skin for snow Imperials turns it into the AT-AT driver.

  Stubbornly repairing the sea wall on Kashyyyk, the vehicle combat advantage, and affecting the bridge controls on the Death Star map are staples of my Battlefront 2 experience and I wouldn't have it any other way. Sometimes, as an added challenge, I try to use the shotgun as little as possible, sticking by a tank and maintaining it to capture command posts.

  Another strength of the Engineer is the ability to throw detpacks, which is something you&apos;ll often see in online play. Just pressing the button will drop the detpack at your feet, but if you hold the button, you will throw it a bit further and you can throw it even further if you look up while throwing it. This is a very effective way of dealing with enemies and is a much more practical use of the Detpack over placing it at your feet and waiting for an enemy to walk into it before detonating.<br><br>Really, the Engineer is pretty damn Overpowered with his only notable weaknesses being a lack of range. The only unit I can say is better (once you know how to use him) is the Dark Trooper. He has a lot of great tricks that turn him into an unstoppable foe

  IIRC you could also repair the exterior ship components internally with the engineer in space battles if you found the right spot. Bringing the shields back online when someone spent forever taking them out could be infuriatingly funny

  I find the sniper in BF2 to be just as tactically engaging, though it’s “reward” weapon beam rifle makes me avoid using headshots as much as possible
