This song makes me want to sail back to the 80s . Priceless and timeless era of music . One of those songs you wish never ends

My son Leo passed away today. He was 22. Somewhere he is sailing on the ocean with the sun shining down on his beautiful face.

If you’re reading this right now, I pray peace wraps around your heart like a gentle breeze. May the memories that hurt begin to heal, and may God’s love meet you in your quiet moments. 🙏🏾

I'm Japanese, and I'm 18 years old. When this song was released, I was not born. But somehow I feel like as if I were in 80's, and somehow I feel very sad. But that kind of feelings are so comfortable to me.

I'm leaving this comment here so after a month or a year. When someone likes it, I'll be reminded of this song.

I fell in love with my husband listening to this song.  July 1980.  He passed from pancreatic cancer 10 years ago.  I hope he is sailing away in heaven and free from all the pain.

This song came out in ‘79. I was diagnosed with Leukemia in ‘81 at 17 years old. 44 years later this is still MY song. My family knows this IS MY SONG. I get a tear sometimes when I hear this and I play it most days.
