  I can relate to this song so much, I was at a friend of mines party almost 3 years ago and I saw this girl across the room and we made eye contact and I swear it was love at first sight and I walked over to her and we started talking and we instantly hit it off, on our second date I quoted the title of this song and she started crying and I asked her what was the matter and she told me that I was the first guy that had ever said that to her, so now almost 3 years later I am very happy to say that the beautiful girl I met is now my wife and we have a beautiful 8 month old daughter, love you baby ❤

  Knew this girl in high school, friend of friend, talked a few times but just as acquaintances. Went away to college for years. Then went to a friends wedding and she was there. Talked to her and asked her out that Friday. Made her breakfast Saturday. On Thursday asked her to marry me. Her wedding band has six diamonds, one for each day we dated. That was 36 years ago. Still married.

  This was ‘our’ song back in 1981. We were married within 10 months of knowing each other, 41 years on and we’re still going strong. So many memories attached to this song. 😊
