  Wow just wow. In a world full of "500 details you missed" this is a breath of fresh air. Not only are you pointing out details that no one's talking about, there is also an educational element to it. What a video! Thank you so much for this

  High fidelity subsurface scattering for skin was actually used in Uncharted 4 before RDR2. Rockstar and Naughty Dog are definitely the two developers pushing graphics technology forward the most.

  I remember vividly the first time I saw the snow in rdr2 being absolutely mind blown back in 2018. Gta6 isnt even out and ive been truly been blown away by the hair technology, ive never seen hair that good in any game before, and its across the board not just protagonist.

  the reason jason jumping into the water looks wonky is because the animation is a directional player input. the game allows you to control flips midair, similar to recent spiderman games. really cool feature but definitely messes with the laws of physics a bit.

  IIRC The Getaway series used blinkers to indicate upcoming turns as well.
