I watched another person buy a unit that had a very similar bunch of Team sports shirts, caps, T-shirts, etc. It was for sports events merch table. They contacted the company and ended up giving it back because There was a mess up and the manager was grateful. The unit purchaser got reimbursed the unit cost

This unit was absolutely merch from a tournament or a pop up shop or something. The table skirt and signage is a dead giveaway. Possibly a previous year. But you said it, someone will likely get an earful for dropping the ball.

I would think that it’s possible that the owner of the locker was an events person for the company and had the unit stocked to be able to do tables at games but may have lost their job or who knows and the unit was never returned to the company. Just my guess.
