PSA is truly horrific, it is such a sad thing that they are considered by so many to be the cream of the crop. It’s a buddy system out there , my brother dropped some cards off at their facility last year, he lives in San Diego. Got the grades back, with all 7, 8, 9 grades. My brother cracked those cards out and gave them to a past employee of PSA and resubmitted them through the ex-employee. My brother has known him for years, all of those cards came back a 10 except for 1 ,9. So sad.

PSA is good at taking your money. Invest in a USB microscope if you don't have one. Won't be long before we can AI grade at home.

Card grading is the biggest scam in the hobby... I would never pay to send any card to be graded, nor would I pay extra for a graded card... these Card Graders intentionally manipulate the market demand.. just the fact there has been people that documented they cracked a graded card and resubmitted getting a higher and/or lower grade shows there is no quality control... biggest scam... lmao

Dude, your frustration is absolutely palpable. And mine right there with ya, brotha. I should send in some of my junk wax as well. Subbing!

Good reveal! I have several of these cards that I’ve either had graded by PSA or currently have sent off to them. So, this was very interesting to see. I only have two of the sealed 1990 score sets but after seeing your return, I might need to look at those Bo cards, you did really well with those, congrats!

SGC all the way. Gave up on PSA two years ago. The only way I buy PSA is if some one else has taken the risk to grade them.

As a grader for years now. FYI, All the cards from that era always grade 7-9 right off the bat for some reason. Yes tens are possible but not like modern cards.
