A current version of this would be very interesting given the monumental shift in the market since this was filmed. The prices on some of the cards and boxes featured in this video are even more ridiculous now. I’m also surprised Probestein was featured in this video despite some of the very negative press relating to shill bidding in recent years.

I still remember opening the first pack of 92 Marvel Masterpieces
They were the coolest cards i ever seen
Then 93 Topps Finest made the Chromium technology and dropped the first chrome refractors
The Fleer Flair set from 95,96 is still to this day some of my favorite cards ever printed
They just absolutely perfect

You know, when we are true collectors. When we are risking our lives for our hockey, collecting during the pandemic or climbing mount everest, we're fishing during the storm, these are our life threatening patterns of true hobbyist

Seeing Dani open that Neo box and pulling both grails really makes me miss opening vintage packs as a kid. Modern packs just dont hit the same way, not even close. Everything is shiny now, back in the day a holo or reverse holo was such a cooler feeling to pull. Really wish I stayed in the hobby through the WOTC era, I stepped away during the Neo sets and missed the e-reader era completely. I'm back in now but cant afford my childhood cards anymore haha!
