  Its funny, I am a 29 year old swedish software engineer living in my apartment in Örebro... yet I watch pretty much all of your videos. I have never worked with any of these stuff but I really feel satisfied when you get old things running. Great work!

  this video actually felt like your old ones,  like you actually had a period of less distraction and time for the mechanical work/ revival and it reflected in the amount of information and details shared... enjoyed it!

  Matt, I respect and understand your decision to not show your finished (or getting finished) home.  I’ll just say you’ve built an audience watching you build and fix things and showing off the final result.   I know I want to see what it will look like inside.  But again I respect your privacy and decision.  Thanks for all the great videos.

  As a Kid , the company Dad worked for bought a 50's D-4 and Dad overhauled the pony and would fire it up and turn my brother and I lose in an open field, with instructions to stay  out in the open away from things we could  mangle .   A good memory relived.

  My Grandpa (my Dad's Dad) had an RD-4 Cat when he died. He also had a scraper pan to pull with it. My Grandparents had a 235 acre farm, and Grandpa bought the outfit to build waterways to counter some erosion issues he was fighting. After he got that dirt work done, he also cleaned up a few woods lines on the farm, adding a fair bit of tillable land. When he realized how simple it was to increase the usable land with his newfound equipment, he then began some work along the edges of his 2 main pastures. All told he gained around 8-10 usable acres to each his tillable and pasture land! He passed when I was just 11½ years old in April 1973. I spent countless hours on the farm with him from the time I was around 6 to 2 nights before he died. I still miss that old feller. He was a gruff old cuss, but you still knew that he loved you even though he never said it. Several years after he passed, my Dad and I were talking about him, and Dad said that he didn't ever remember hearing that word cross Grandpa's lips, but the emotion was undeniable! One other thing after my Dad and his youngest brother finished up the harvest before Grandpa died, he told my Dad and Uncle that he wanted me to take over the farm when I was 16. If only God could have waited just 3½ more years to call him home how much different things could have been...  Oh well, easy come easy go...
