It looks like a D8 8R to me. The blade is LeTourneau angle blade. Dozer years ago came separately from blade. You ordered the blade group you wanted. The 2U series came after the 8R and 1H. The engine was a 13000 series industrial engine. Extremely durable. I rebuilt the last that ever came into the shop at Ohio Machinery Co in Cleveland, Ohio in the late 70’s out of a crane. I had 42 1/2 years there before retiring.

В России копии этих тракторов делали до конца 2000 годов,и называлось это т100 т130 т170 или Б10.в россии бензиновые пусковые двигатели называли "пускачами",а вы их называете пони(маленькая лошадь)это очень удивительно

I'm guessing the old owner who started it every now and then passed away, at least the dozer is getting a new life now. I'm sure that would have put a smile on the previous owner
