  I started achievement hunting because I love the sound of unlocking achievements. I also love it when they make me play a game in a way that I normally wouldn't.

  As a fellow achievement hunter, one thing I have made a rule for myself as well, which helps burnout, is to play games even with unobtainable ones because you can miss some truly great games that still have fun achievements to go after.

  I don’t usually go trophy hunting, but when I like a game enough I generally go out of my way to do everything in the game, including getting all trophies/achievements.

  My god… stumbled onto this video to hear your story and starting the video off with Cloning Clyde instantly made me sub and to check out your content. You unlocked a small memory of my brain that I would never thought be unlocked again or remember… it’s hard to describe the feeling but I thank you  for it lol. Unlocked a huge part of my childhood within the first second, crazy

  i started achievement hunting out of neccsity, when io was younger, when you got a game that was gonna be your game for a while, so achivements were a way for me to get the most out of them. once i had my job in high school and getting games was no issue, i still kept it up. with the advent of gamepass, i started doing it for games i was interested in because once gamepass expired i wasnt playing them again. nowadays i play on pc primarily, still achivement hunt through pc gamepass every now and then. ive since gone back to my xbox and am going through the backlog of games i picked up and dropped or achivements i wanted to get but never got around too. its been really fun to complete some games a decade or later. currently doing mein leben for wolfenstien 2, its the last achivement i have to get for the game and its not been easy but itll be the rarest and most satisfying one to get when i do.<br><br>i wish xbox came up with a response to platinums. as an achivement hunter loosing that 100% because of dlc added way after the fact is annoying.

  That is very true. Playing towards gaining an achievement does make you improve your play

  in the past 2 weeks i started achievement hunting and its been for me the only way i can enjoy games anymore, it also gave me chances to expand my taste. i just finished skyrim and oblivion and had a blast along with doom 1, 2, and 64.
