  Considering how much Christopher’s parents belittled Lorelai time and time again and under Richard and Emily’s roof, I was honestly surprised that they even consorted with them at all afterwards.    His parents wanted nothing to do with Rory despite her not asking to be born into this drama.  Then, Christopher barely fought to be in his daughter’s life financially or otherwise.  There is no way on earth that I would have been okay with Lorelai marrying him.

  Kelly Bishop looked so pretty in the flashbacks. I mean, she&apos;s aways beautiful, but that hairstyle and makeup is another level!<br><br>Although her hairdo in the pilot did her no favors. So glad she didn&apos;t keep it that way.

  Emily and Richard finally getting to see Lorelei graduate is still so sweet! And then the picture at the end still gets me ☺

  I actually love when Rory was cold to Emily after she broke up Lorelai and Luke it showed how upset she was by it too.

  One character trait about richard that I never liked is the way he would abandon conversations and conflicts that he sometimes inflamed or started with his signature &quot;excuse me I have work to do&quot; There are times where he is crushing lorelai with his words, for instance the speech he gives when Lorelai announces she can&apos;t be with Christopher due to her getting his Girlfriend Sherry pregnant...he says the must scathing, hurtful and unsupportive words to her, then just walks off to his study and leaves everyone with the hurt he&apos;s just caused. It&apos;s no wonder lorelai is so distant from them.

  As the show progress I actually understood Emily and her mothering. And how hurt she was when Lorelai left. She was not a kind mother, she was a worrying mother, she has been worrying for Lorelei for years. When she ask for money for Rory, she saw a chance not only to help but to get her daughter back. She wanted the best for Lorelai, and was a little overwhelming. Even when Lorelai was pregnant, she defended her daughter and offer all the support she could, she just had a rough way to showed. But she would have did anything for Lorelai and Rory, as she showed in many moments of the show. Not all Moms are fun, she was eggocentric, overbearing, over nervous, and uptights, but she truly loved her girls.

  Thank you for that. For me the Gilmore Girls always have been 3, not 2: Rory, Lorelei and Emily.
