  Pastor Steven Darby has a sermon named "Your Celebrities are Channelers".  Too many of them have told us this, Denzel Washington and Damson Idris among them.

  This is NOT acting.  This is possession. Acting is a technical process using a practical application of both technique and talent.  What is going on here is a mind over matter process that overcomes limited talent.  Even if you were playing a dark character, you use the same basic premise to create a living character using your imagination, with help from the written material.  I also use the Holy Spirit to guide my character choices that motivate action.  The reason actors have a difficult time creating a character or coming up with an emotion is because they are spent - not enough alone time in meditation, gratitude and other things outside of acting.   Stanislavski said that real life experiences, outside of acting, fuel the craft.

  Evan Peters has said that he had to take a break after American Horror Story and later when he did Dahmer. He was such an amazing actor that he dived deep into that darkness and had to reset after the roles. He speaks about his mental health and acting a lot. Heath did a very bad things to himself for the joker too. Especially for people who suffer from depression in real life.

  They are so quick to give their souls to the devil but scared to give their hearts to God. Sad sad and cruel world we live in.
