  Point to note,<br><br>No, human blood is never blue, not even inside your body. It is always red because of hemoglobin, a compound containing iron that transports oxygen. Oxygen-rich blood is bright red, while oxygen-depleted blood is dark red; veins appear blue only due to an optical illusion caused by how light filters through skin.

  come to Australia and try mud crabs mate...best in the world...but i could be biased. We got &apos;blue swimmers&apos; or what u call blue crabs too...big ones

  About 30 years ago my buddy got s permit and brought his big (Massachusetts) lobsterboat down there and cleaned house for a winter. &nbsp;Locals weren&apos;t happy at him double-dipping, he agreed not to do it again in exchange for not having his boat burnt. &nbsp;Fishermen are the same everywhere, lol.

  With stone crabs, you really should only take one claw. When you take both, they have no defense from predators and it does make it harder for them to eat.

  Finally, Luke gets to enjoy one of my old jobs, Stone Crabber! It was the hardest work that I loved doing. Back in the &apos;80&apos;s, we built our traps from wood, because plastic traps were WAY too expensive for poor crabbers. I&apos;m glad that the prices have increased so that now crabbers are getting paid for their work and liabilities!
