I'm a Veronaville apologist, I love it 💕 my favourite pre-made deceased ancestor is Momentilla Bramble. It's totally normal to have one... right!? There was a recent Reddit post about how Tybalt and Hermia were originally meant to be Goneril and Regan's children respectively, I'd be so interested to see it in its original state.

I'm playing a combined hood for the first time, Veronaville added to Strangetown, and it's been a game changer! Everyone is picking sides - Buzz hates the Summerdreams, PT9 Smith is besties with Isabella Monty, and Olive Specter has been circling Consort Capp (I'm watching you, Olive!!). Cornwall Capp and Loki Beaker would be starting a stupid eyebrows club if the latter were still around... 👀 uni rounds have been so much fun.
Just to up the ante, I've added 3 new dynastic families to the latter. It's taken 42 ancestors and a lot of help from SimBlender and Memory Commander, but it's complete with Shakespearian names, lore, secrets and I'm so proud of it 💕

Contessa Capp, Olivia Monty, and Claudio Monty are some the rare breed of base game hood sims that are dead that have bios implying they might have at one point in development were intended to still be alive, I also the deleted sim of viola make veronaville so neat

I've always loved Veronaville and those massive family trees are one of the reasons! I love to make extra families inspired by other Shakespeare or historical stuff, or just with Italian vibes, and interconnect them with the three main families. The feud makes the neighborhood so dinamic and interesting in my opinion

The reason they didn't give Caliban grandparents is simple. They only gave playable Sims dead grandparents. Caliban isn't playable, but his children are, so the rule only applies to his children...

I love this video! Honestly, I think one for the Smith/Curious/Singles households would also be great as that is also a surprisingly complex family tree.

Overdone is actually a name of a Shakespeare character from Measure for Measure. I only know this because I did a lot of research while creating a subhood for Veronaville
