  I live in Springfield Missouri. I will say that this state is very underrated. There is so much to see and explore.

  So glad they went to Wonders of Wildlife Museum and Aquarium and the headquarters store of Bass Pro Shops (the second largest Bass Pro in the US, only the Memphis, Tennessee store is larger). &nbsp;Coming thru Springfield and not stopping there is a mistake.<br><br>Water towers in the US often have the name of the city they are located in. &nbsp;In this case it also doubles as a pun. &nbsp;In St. Clair, Missouri there are 2 water towers side by side. &nbsp;One is painted with the word &quot;HOT&quot; while the other is painted with the word &quot;COLD&quot;. &nbsp;But it&apos;s just a pun, they don&apos;t actually heat the &quot;HOT&quot; water tower.

  I live in Missouri so I have been on this part Route 66 quite a few times, &nbsp;also parts in New Mexico.

  Missouri is definitely underrated by most people to include those who only visit St Louis or Kansas City. There’s a lot more to this State especially in the countryside with the small towns and other big lesser known cities.

  Now you ought to watch a video on the Joplin tornado. &nbsp; I used to get my fishing license at Bass Pro when it was just in the back of a liquor store in Springfield.

  In areas of the United States where the land is relatively flat, almost every small town has a water tower. Usually, the name of the town is painted on the tower. Water is pumped up into the top of the tower, and then is distributed to the homes and businesses in the area. Gravity provides the water pressure needed to make sure that when people turn on their taps, that water flows!

  I&apos;m old enough to remember when there were still a few of these old gas stations still around, with the old pumps and all. I don&apos;t blame you for wanting to go to that chocolate shop.

  My dad bought my mom a piano for her birthday. &nbsp;Since I’d moved away to college, I never got to hear her practice. &nbsp;A few weeks later, I called my dad and asked how the music had been coming along. &nbsp;“Oh…” said my dad, “I persuaded her to switch to the saxophone.” &nbsp;“Why?” I asked. &nbsp;He replied, “With the saxophone, there isn’t a chance she’ll try to sing along!” 🤣🤣🤣
