  The name Yosemite comes from the Native American Miwok language (specifically the Southern Sierra Miwok dialect).It derives from the word yohhe'meti or yosse'meti, which translates literally to "they are killers" or "those who kill."

  I loved my visit to London. I’m from Oregon.  I was astounded by The Tower, the museums, the castles, the art, Big Ben, THE bridge, the Thames, Westminster - I saw Elizabeth I’s tomb.  I went to the reconstructed Globe theatre!  I had lunch floating down The Thames!  It blew me away!  Your little island is home to amazing history and some of the world’s most amazing literature, music, art, and bone china ever made.  I love you, cousins!

  Well, if you want, German Milwaukee is the place to go and Wisconsin. Cause it was basically German immigrants and Polish immigrants in Norwegian immigrants that settled Wisconsin. You go to northern Wisconsin, you get more of the Norwegian. You go to south of Wisconsin, you have more of the Polish north, and east is more of the German. Of course, a lot of things have changed over the years. I hope you enjoy your trip. Wherever you go, there's so much to see in this country

  😮 I'm surprised that Brits are surprised about the USA.  I've seen films about Paris, Britain Rome, Africa, China, etc., and I know the scenery and buildings in those movies and films are real.  There's always the library if you're not sure.😂

Shouldn&apos;t you know that, with that accent? I love how these folks&apos; minds are blown with small town America. Also: yellow school busses, that high school cheerleaders actually exist, US flags of every size and shape, highways/interstates, A/C (see: Fat Electrician&apos;s rant), window screens, decent food, free refills, car sizes, peanut butter, pizza, Mac n cheese, mountains, lakes, sunshine, on and on and on. Did they really think Hollywood made it all up???

  European people have been told and believe that Americans are fake friendly. We are not. Being friendly and helpful is taught to us from a young age. Why wouldn&apos;t you help someone no matter the cost? What does being closed off to others do for you? At the end of the day you remain alone.
