Fun fact: When Specs and Tucker enter Elise's house, there is an African Tribal painting hanging on the wall. It is the same painting seen hanging in Daniel's study in Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) and in the Grandmother's house in Paranormal Activity 3 (2011).

The real horror of this movie is realizing that Elise is still working even in death.

Patrick Wilson is proving that he’s a great actor with this movie. Just how he portrayed it

This is the movie that actually made me soooo captivated with scary movies. Specifically this type. Not too much on the gruesome stuff. This is more about family and the past. It’s about the ghost/spirits/lost souls. It’s even more intriguing than just someone coming to kill you in the night. It’s deeper.

35:52 it’s an interesting detail to note in this shot how much paler Josh’s body is becoming. On one hand, it could just be like all the spiriting possession so his body is like naturally decaying but I think it’s also because it’s almost like his body is reflecting Parker Crane, and the fact that he wore the make up and everything when he chose his victims
