Have you ever wanted to own one of my swords? I have an opening in 2027 for a $150,000 sword that I want to make, and you could be the owner. Simply fill out the forum on my website if you’re interested https://www.kyleroyerknives.com/150000-sword-inquiry

You get me excited to think about being a Bladesmith, I’ve had a feeling I’ve needed to do it. You and your family are incredible.

Kyle Royer is probably the greatest living blade smith alive today and his name needs to be among the best ever! Not just IMO- but the words of his fellow smiths say as much. AND something that, I think, goes unsaid but needs to be recognized here is Josh's skills. His work is fantastic! And it sucks you in and make these vids perfect for nighttime watching. It's a pleasure to watch both of these talented individuals work. Just glad YouTube has delivered the forum for the rest of us to be held in awe of their work!

I love the relationship you have with your parents and brother, it makes jealous in a strangely wholesome way, lol

Have you ever thought of putting animal silhouettes in your patterns? When you first showed off the pattern, I was seeing bats in the "W" pattern of the blade

Please make more knives with the Damascus scrap, we loved that knife!

I have all the courses, and this is my favorite one. That pattern and those fittings are just beautiful together. I also have to confess that the blade shape really grew on me. I wasn't sure about it at first, but eventually I started really loving it, to the point where I made a little blacksmith knife a couple of days ago that had the same basic shape (but much smaller, since I was working with a railroad spike). Unfortunately, I screwed up grinding and had to take the raised clip out. Go me.

I love your channel. It teaches many lessons. One of those being... people get upset over the price of materials versus the price of the finished product. They hear you say "billets that only cost a few dollars" and their alarm bells start going off. They don't realize that theyre not paying for the billets.... they're paying for your (extensive) time spent and years of expertise.

.....................and if they don't understand that, it's fine, because they're not your target customers anyhow.
