Never have witnessed an actor inhabit a character the way Daniel Day Lewis did Lincoln. I cried at the end because of the loss of such a fine human being.

Sally Field looks damn good for her age. As does Day-Lewis for that matter.

I fell in love with the character of Lincoln as portrayed by DDL. What a guy! What a person!

something I enjoy in DDL interviews is that he realizes that the (very sincere) things he says can sound very pretentious so he cautiously says them with some shyness, but still gets it out

DDL's description of finding a character's voice is fascinating.

Daniel is possibly the best actor in history!

I saw Flight with the immensely great Denzel Washington and was convinced that the Oscar was going to be his. Without doubt, he smashed it out of the park.

Then shortly after Lincoln was released and I knew instantly that Daniel had to be given that golden accolade.
The man is an absolute marvel and his performances stand so tall over those who are masters also.

What a towering example of the craft we witness he and Steven are.
We are genuinely fortuitous to have these two exceptions collude for our education and entertainment.

Lincoln is and probably would be the best movie for me. There is something so seamless the way Daniel day Lewis carried this role.

I believe Mr Strathairn is underrated as an actor.
