  He wasn’t a typical pressure fighter. He pressured, he cut fighters with elbows, he had KO power, he submitted from anywhere. He was a living swiss army knife.

I respect Lee for actually doing it, even though most of us knew what era of Tony Ferguson this was going to be about. Cheers to everyone learning about Tony for the first time.

  Khabib &quot;Duckdov&quot; pulled out just hours before his fight against Tony at UFC 209 — he didn’t make weight, was rushed to the hospital, and only a few hours later was spotted eating tiramisu. Before that, at UFC Fight Night in December 2015, he already withdrew because of a so-called rib injury that many claimed didn’t exist. He ducked again at UFC 216 for the interim title fight without giving a clear reason, and later in 2020 he flew back to Russia, avoiding Tony even after Tony was past his prime. Truly Ranmagomedov.

  Everyone accepted fights and beat Tony when he was out of his prime,<br>but no one wanted to share the Octagon with him when he was in his prime.<br>They were all afraid of Tony — including both former and current lightweight champions at the time.<br>But idiots only saw his losing streak, instead of remembering what Tony used to be.<br>To me, he is the best lightweight ever and the most exciting fighter to ever step into the Octagon.
