"With all the money Ultrakill makes, we can just dump that money into Gloomwood and Fallen Aces … like any great studio, we're going to go out of business by making immersive sims." (Dave Oshry, CEO of New Blood Interactive)

Important note: Meccha Chameleon was made in "2 months" by developers who had been making lots of small games. They've been quite open that they were able to take pieces they had built for previous releases to speed up building Meccha Chameleon.

Thank you Angyl for the in-depth explanation of what we're trying to do. It feels great when someone "gets" it.

It may take us a lot of time, but it's that feeling of every encounter and room being handcrafted problems to cleverly solve or a story to tell that made me fall in love with games like Thief, Deus Ex and System Shock to begin with. Even if it's maybe not the wisest genre to invest a lot of time into, I wanted to make something I'd want to play.

In the wise, kinda paraphrased words of Harris Bomber Guy, "a good immersive sim is one where you can solve a problem by stacking boxes and going around it"

If I remember correctly, GW is being developed by like 2-3 people. The idea that that amount of people are working on one of the hardest genres of games to make is astounding which is what gives me the ease to just wait (as much as it sucks)

1:30 seeing prey being mentioned as forgotten stings so bad, its one of my favorite games ever yet the statement is also so true
