key words of Jamie "I didn't do anything WRONG" He doesn't deny doing it, he denies doing nothing wrong, cause he doesn't believe what he did was wrong

The continous shots were an incredible choice because it doesn't give you a moment to escape. Even when things get uncomfortable the audience is fully immersed in it. So well done

The thing I've found most fascinating about Adolescence is how shocked men are by it, particularly middle aged men.
I know that myself and the women I've spoken to about it didn't find it particularly shocking or revelatory but the men have all been stunned.
I don't know if that's because as women we're very aware of the way we're targeted and treated by the manosphere online and the horrifying affect it's had on young men or what.

A thirteen year old boy killed a woman in my province last week. This is a real epidemic with young boys and a genuine rage and hatred for women and girls. Making a show like this is so important, showing the reality of these cases. Young boys are being taught to hate women, to feel owed something from women, and not to take no for an answer. They’re also lacking a community of healthy masculinity around them, where other men hold them both accountable for their actions and supports them. I’m really glad your channel is covering this, because I think it’s really important for men to be creating these spaces and having these conversations. Real change isn’t going to come from women asking men to stop murdering us, we’ve been doing that since the dawn of time. It’s going to come from men making it unacceptable socially for other men to treat women this way. Boys have to be taught that there will be no community, no society, where the hatred and harm of women is acceptable. I know this sounds very preachy, but I’ve been really exhausted by the continuous cycle online concerning violence towards women. I think this show could be amazing, if the right audience sees and understands it. I hope to see your reaction to the rest of it, it’s an amazingly done series.

Ps. I know it’s a tough watch, but your thoughts and discussion on this topic as men is really important, and I’m glad to see you covering it.

I love that you brought up parenting in the conversation, but we can’t forget that we are not only the result of the education our parents give us. We are a product of everything—friends, schoolmates, social media—all of that shapes who we are. And no matter how much a parent's job is to teach us to distinguish right from wrong so we don’t get influenced by those "outside forces," it’s impossible to fully control what will ultimately define their child.

This is exactly who I wanted to react to this. You guys may look like big bro-ey dudes but it’s your capacity for emotional maturity and insight that really drives these kinds of reactions.

Here in the UK - generally the EU, being a teen, most kids have keys to get in and out cause kids get themselves to school and back home. It's common to "allow" your teenage kids to go out with friends to the cinemas, or social clubs that late... We don't have guns - albeit knives are now fast being issues, parents try to give their kids some leeway with curfews.
Now, the working set up for this family is one that some families here are examining now as the dad was on call overnight cause he owns his business.

I’ll just say you guys are doing exactly what Stephen Graham wanted to happen with this series. It’s not a who done it, more a why done it. It will deal with current complex issues. Hold on guys you are in for a helluva ride.

the thing is no matter how much parents shelter their children they will always be influenced by the culture outside of their home
